  • A deep understanding of Salesforce Einstein features, including foundational AI concepts, large language models (LLMs), prompts, models, and tools.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Platform configurations, processes, and best practices, with the ability to build, configure, test, troubleshoot, and refine Einstein features like prompts and models.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Salesforce Einstein functionalities such as Sales emails, Service replies, Work Summary, Copilot Builder, Prompt Builder, and Model Builder, with the ability to implement and customize these features to meet specific business needs.
  • Competence in using Salesforce tools and developing custom solutions, actions, or integrations within the Salesforce environment.
  • Knowledge of AI fundamentals, including predictive analytics, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and Salesforce’s trusted AI principles in CRM systems.

  • Understand white space analysis.

About the Exam

Here are the details for the Salesforce Certified AI Specialist Exam:

  • Content: 60 multiple-choice questions
  • Time allotted: 105 minutes
  • Passing score: To be determined (TBD)
  • Registration fee: US$200 plus applicable taxes as required by local law
  • Retake fee: US$100

  • References: No hard-copy or online materials are permitted during the exam.
  • Prerequisite: None

Note: After completing the exam, but before receiving your results, you’ll have the opportunity to provide comments and feedback on individual questions. This survey, which should take no more than 5 minutes, helps us continually improve our certifications and Credentialing Program.

  • Given a scenario, identify the correct generative AI feature in Einstein for Service.

Prompt Builder: 37%

  • Given business requirements, identify when it’s appropriate to use Prompt Builder.
  • Identify the right user roles to manage and execute prompt templates.
  • Identify the considerations for creating a prompt template.
  • Given a scenario, identify the appropriate grounding technique.
  • Explain the process for creating, activating, and executing prompt templates.

Einstein Copilot: 23%

  • Given business requirements, identify when it’s appropriate to use Einstein Copilot.
  • Explain how the large language model (LLM) identifies and executes a copilot action.
  • Leverage standard copilot actions and create custom copilot actions.
  • Manage and monitor Copilot adoption.

Model Builder: 8%

  • Given business requirements, identify when it’s appropriate to use Model Builder.
  • Configure standard, custom, and Bring Your Own Large Language Model (BYOLLM) generative models.

Maintaining Your Salesforce Certification

One of the advantages of holding a Salesforce credential is staying current with new product updates and releases. To maintain this, you’ll need to complete the Administrator certification maintenance modules on Trailhead annually.
